Belgate Dachshunds

is a small show kennel located in the beautiful redwood forests of  California.  Specializing in Miniature Longhair Dachshunds, we have a limited number of Miniature Smooths as well.

We offer puppies, some older stock occasionally, and Champion stud service in both coats.

Specializing in black & tan, dapple, and chocolate longhairs; and red and black & tan smooth coats.

Since we are a show kennel, every breeding is carefully planned with the hopes of creating show winners that adhere as closely as possible to the Standard of Perfection as set down by the Dachshund Club of America.

All litters are carefully planned, both for beauty and for temperament, and all are lovingly home-raised in the kitchen. All puppies are handled daily. When they are old enough, they are given appropriate toys and allowed to explore, under supervision, to help develop outgoing, happy personalities.
